The Simple Shoes Sno Tire contains no animal byproducts or even regular animal products. It is vegan friendly and veggie friendly shoe with hemp and organic cotton uppers. It is lined in certified organic cotton and has PET laces, PET pedbeds and the outsole used to be a car tires. It has a vulcanized rubber sidewall, toecap, and heelcap. It uses 100% post consumer paper pulp foot forms and is part of the Eco Sneaks BETTER category. The bottom of these shoes used to be tires that rolled around on an axle that was connected to a car. Given the inherent nature of use like this, some of the shoe bottoms (i.e. tires) are marked up a little. Sure, Simple buffs them out and put them on the bottom of the shoes, but they still show wear.
