The Pro Keds 69er sneaker was introduced in 1969. Adopted by the forefathers of the rap movement and was the break dancing shoe of choice in New York City – Worn by Rock Steady Crew, and Grandmaster Flash. Vintage canvas uppers. Loose lined construction. Lace-up upper provides secure, comfortable fit. Lightly padded footbed provides excellent shock absorption. Distinctive three stripe foxing tape design is remembered and revered in the inner city neighborhoods as a true sneaker with style. Elongated lateral bumper. Natural rubber outsole provides great traction. Shoe weighs 12.3 oz.
