Originally introduced as a Keds product in about 1926 called the Royal Tread. Launched with PRO-Keds in 1949 one of the original styles. Worn by star center George Mikan and the 5 time champion Minneapolis Lakers in the early 50’s. Leather upper for great comfort and durability. Lace-up upper for custom, secure fit. Lightly padded footbed for extra comfort. Loose lined construction. Friction foxing tape, and signature red and navy stripes on outside of wrap sole. Natural rubber outsole provides excellent traction.
